About Us

Nicholas Roche originally founded Hale Natural Health Clinic in 2003 and as the name suggests the premises were originally situated in Hale, Altrincham.  In 2008 we moved premises to Heald Green, a mere 6 miles down the road.  The new premises offer a warmer, more homely feel whilst still offering the utmost in professional care.

At Hale Natural Health Clinic we believe in treating the root cause of your problems, regardless of whether they are physical or emotional.  That way once the issue has been resolved it should not re-occur. 

We work on a simple, no nonsense approach that gives you the ability to take back control of your life. 

We do not overcomplicate things but rather guide you through your healing journey and offer support every step of the way.

Nicholas Roche

Originally Nick worked in the electronics industry and then went on to work in the space industry for 8 years.  After becoming disillusioned with the industry, Nick decided that a change was required and so began taking classes in massage with anatomy and physiology with a potential career change in mind.  In his spare time, he shadowed a very experienced manipulative therapist and so learned a vast deal about injury management.  This developed into treating injuries with a cold laser system that enables the patient to rapidly recover from their conditions without the trauma that can sometimes be involved in remedial treatments.  In 2003 Nick began his four-year training in Naturopathy and also took the course in Colon Hydrotherapy.  Alongside this Nick started using the BEST (Bio Energetic Stress Testing) system.  This is a comprehensive screening system to detect weakness or imbalance in the body in the form of food intolerance, vitamin deficiency and hormone imbalance.  Over time the business has grown and developed to further enable the complete restoration of health. 

With Nick’s scientific background, he looks to treat people with a blend of science and common sense, combining the latest technologies with an unparalleled level of care.  

Emma J. Hunt

Having always wanted to work in the health care sector, Emma took an honours degree in Complementary Medicine and Health Sciences and graduated with a 2.1 in 2000.  Initially specialising in massage treatments, it wasn’t long before she went on the course to be able to practice Colonic Hydrotherapy in 2001.  Working at The Medicine Shop and Clinic in Alderley Edge and Natural Practices in Wilmslow, allowed Emma to further develop her skills in nutrition and herbal medicine whilst still generating a demand for her use of massage techniques and the ever-popular colonic hydrotherapy.  After a few years working part-time in Wilmslow, Emma joined Nick at Hale Natural Health Clinic and has been able to further help people with a better understanding of muscle injuries as a result of Nick’s vast experience.  During this time Emma took the first two levels of reiki healing and so now practices both physical and spiritual works.  In 2006 Emma decided it was time to learn another system of medicine to enable her to better treat emotional as well as physical symptoms, thus reaching the root of people’s “dis-ease.”  As a result she enrolled with the North West College of Homeopathy to begin the four-year part-time course. 

Through having a variety of different “tools” Emma is able to treat people at all levels, physically, emotionally and spiritually and enable them to maintain a healthy life and to be able to enjoy it to the full.
 

How to Find Us

We are located just 5 minutes from Manchester Airport and the M56, 7 miles from Manchester centre and less than 3 miles from the M60 ring road. 

The premises are situated on the main road through Heald Green village. We are above Reeds Rains Estate Agents, which is in the main row of shops in Heald Green Centre.  Entry is to the left with a buzzer system.  We are just 2 minutes walk from the train station, which is on the Manchester Airport line. 

There is a free car park behind the row of shops including Tesco Express and Roger Dean Estate Agents. The car park can be reached by turning in-between the Co-op and Tesco's or by turning in-between Roger Dean Estate Agents and Peter Herd’s Bakery. There is also free parking in the numbered spaces of the Heald Green Beefeater pub car park.
