The Hotel
The “Etoile de Neige” was designed with the skier in mind, having a ski storage facility with heated boot cupboards and the ski bus to the main tele cabin to the slopes stops outside the front entrance. The main tele cabin lift is only a five minute ski bus ride away and serves not only the Valtournenche slopes (some 70km of them) but two new high speed lifts installed two years ago allow access to both Cervinia and Zermatt. The ski bus link is free to those who have a ski pass, so the car, if you have one, can be left on the hotel car park throughout your stay.
The hotel has 29 rooms including three family rooms and all have en-suite shower rooms. There are two lounges with a small bar which is the ideal place for “après ski”. A sauna and gymnasium are available for hire at a small extra charge.
Accommodation is offered on a half board
basis with the restaurant located on the lower ground floor, the
cuisine being prepared fresh daily, the breakfast comprising a
comprehensive buffet and the dinner a three course menu. Special
