Location Llangwnadl is a sleepy hamlet on the north-western coast of the Llŷn Peninsula, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stretching out about 30 miles into the Irish Sea from the Northwest of Wales in Great Britain. Llŷn retains a unique Welsh charm and character that is still as strong as ever. The peninsula also enjoys a unique micro-climate, benefiting from the gulf stream, bringing warmer weather and higher sea temperatures. Popular seaside resorts are peppered around the nearly 100 miles of stunning coastline that Llŷn has to offer, with long sandy beaches and secluded, tucked-away coves, there is something for everyone! Pwllheli, the unofficial capital of the peninsula and has a popular weekly open air market as well as two sandy beaches and an award winning marina. Abersoch is one of Britain's top sailing venues with events held throughout the summer. The pretty white washed village of Aberdaron near the tip of Llŷn has a couple of shops, restaurants and cafes, all nestled around the mouth of the River Daron. Morfa Nefyn on the north coast boasts a long sandy beach, leading it's way to Porthdinllaen with it's pub on top of the beach - a very popular spot during the summer! Off the tip of the peninsula is Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) which is said to be the burial place of 20,000 saints, and day visitors can take a boat trip from either Pwllheli or Porth Meudwy near Aberdaron to explore the island. To the east of Llŷn are the mighty mountains of Snowdonia with all of the breathtaking scenery and excellent walking you could wish for! Also within reach for a day trip is the Cambrian coast, with it's resorts such as Harlech and Barmouth, also Anglesey and the North Wales coast including Conwy and Llandudno.
