Here we have on
offer a customised, unique package with a difference! The
package includes full weeks guided walks as per programme and
you will be learning the Welsh language from the moment of your
arrival.
You will enjoy an insight into the life, culture and heritage of
Llŷn, and as you will see, it is indeed a world apart. So
different in atmosphere, climate and culture that it is
guaranteed to entrance all who visit. Every year more people
discover the unique beauty and peace of this very special part
of Wales. Welsh is the first language of over a million people,
and in the area of Snowdonia, the Llŷn Peninsula and the
Cambrian Coast around 70% of the population are Welsh speakers.
Welsh is one of the oldest living languages in Europe.
After your holiday you should be able to speak some of this
ancient language. Located on Llŷn, in a renovated and
adapted mining village called Nant Gwrtheyrn, is the National
Language Centre for Wales. The sense of community is very strong
and Llŷn’s appeal springs from it’s unique heritage, culture and
language, which touches on every day life, giving this area a
truly distinctive character.
ITINERARY:

Evening: Presentation and short slide show and discussion on
your holiday.
SUNDAY: All day walk.
Evening: Short summarization on the day, and then free to
relax as you wish.
MONDAY: All day walk.
Evening: Short summarization on the day, and then free to relax
as you wish.
TUESDAY: All day walk.
Evening: Short summarization on the day, and then free to relax
as you wish.
WEDNESDAY: Free
(Activities for this day can be discussed on Saturday evening.
For a small extra charge some choices available are: a visit to
the market town of Pwllheli; a 13 mile journey through some
spectacular scenery on a steam train; a visit to a gallery or a
art exhibition. There are many more options to choose
from.)
THURSDAY: All day walk.

as you wish.
FRIDAY: All day walk.
Evening: Short summarization on the day, and then free to relax
as you wish.
SATURDAY: Depart
