We are located in the unofficial capital town of the Llŷn Peninsula, with it's weekly markets, award winning marina, sandy beaches and easy access, Pwllheli is still a firm favourite with holidaymakers. The town centre is a collection of small streets, together with the Maes, a large open car park which turns into one of Britain's busiest open air markets every Wednesday. There are also Sunday markets which take place over the summer months.
Hafan Pwllheli, the town's marina, is located in the estuary of the two rivers that enter the town and boasts 24 hour access via the harbour which sweeps it's way around towards Tremadog Bay. The waters off Pwllheli are recognised internationally for good sailing conditions. South Beach (which the apartment is located at the top of!) is just one of Pwllheli's two blue flag beaches, the other is Glan-y-Don, accessed through the sand dunes near the marina.
Pwllheli is the western terminus for the Cambrian Coast line which goes all the way to Birmingham. The A499 brings visitors in from the north, whilst the A497 gives good access from the south.
