CAMPAIGN TO REDUCE PLASTIC BAG USE
SAC has been in consultation with local traders to encourage
them to abandon the provision of free plastic bags and to replace them by selling (reasonably priced) reusable versions made from more environmentally acceptable materials. The intention is to produce an attractive “SAC” bag in collaboration with Abersoch School, which is a member of SAC, and with the Abersoch Sewing Group.
Posters and stickers have been designed and are prominently displayed around the village to promote the campaign.

Take a re-usable bag with you when you shop and refuse a new plastic bag with your shopping.
Look out for the “SAC” bag in the shops!
